Lets see those Scolymia pics!

Thanks guys :) I collect all kind of stuff...lolas long as they are colorful and nice.

Those are sand anemone or flower anemone...I have 4 of them in the tank. There is one more but he is hiding behind the rock. I guess he is camera shy...:)

Haid,

Thanks. It was turquiose with red stripes originally but I don't know why it has some blueish/purleish color on it now...I am telling you...lighting can do do weir things to your LPS some time. Same thing happen to my acans too.

Epicystis crucifer. Didn't know they came in red. I have a green one for about 4 years that is 6" across----spawns every feb and august after the full moon. No joke. Done it for three years straight. So John, you should come down to one of our Richmond Reef Club meetings sometime. If I ever get my PC straight, I'll start posting pics of my own. I picked up a subechinata or hillae for stupid cheap the other day. A customer brought it to the store b/c they didn't like it......I did.

Just bought this one, never seen a purple one before. What do you guys think? Rare?

Wow, you guys are fast! LOL Thanks guys, can't wait till have it in my tank. Will post pics when it arrives!

Great LPS. One word of caution: Scolymia and Cynarina are favorite targets for Angelfish to pick on. Sometimes Tangs will pick at them as well. Here's a pic of a Scolymia that smells food.

Hey Steven did you pay for this one? :lol2: :wavehand:

Where did you get it from. Btw FishTown has a Green, that been there for about a month and it's still alive :eek2: so it must be hardy. It's only $37.99 less 20%.

Here's a new one I just scored today. It is a common scolymia Vitiensis but kinda rare/uncommon with red/pink color.

It is still not happy yet:
