Let's see your sump and plumbing

I'd be tempted to pay someone to come and make my wiring and setup look that neat, but somehow I don't think it's possible to make mine look that good. I've got too much stuff underneath my 4 footer.

I forgot to mention that the way I've configured my pumps, it takes less than 2 minutes to pull one out to clean or replace... The best thing is, that the cover plates are the same for both the Mag-12 and 18's (and the impellers are interchangeable as well). This makes for a perfectly simplistic system, with built-in redundancy.

Mmmmmm, there's awesome skiing and rock climbing in Vermont! :D

Sure is, I'm 30 minutes from 3-4 different ski areas. You can stay at my place for free if you can figure out my wiring mess ;)

Pinpoint ORP

I'll also eventually be adding yet another Milwaukee pH controller, to regulate the Kalk flow, since my top-offs will be split between pure RO/DI and my Nilson reactor. This will completely remove the possibility of a Kalk overdose, while maintaining a perfect balance.

Wiring is easy... The key is to keep everything isolated and coordinated, which is why I've used the split-loom tubing, cable ties, hose clamps, etc.

Marking things is also a great idea, but that tends to place you directly in the middle of geekdom! :eek2:

Hahaha.

Isolation and coordination... That's where I'm going wrong ;)

BTW... Love my Reef-Relief. It has been a savior! Works like a charm, but my power light has ceased. No biggie.

Green power light == Radio Shack #272-708 ;)
FWIW: ReefTek has taken over ownership of Reef-Relief, since the first of February.

It's a 'U' shaped continuous siphon overflow, much like a CPR, only it works! ;)
I would hope they didn't make the same mistake as CPR did with that terrible design. I assume no vacuum pump is required?

If you get a chance...I'd really like to see what the siphon setup looks like.

Nope, no vacuum pump is required!

I looked carefully last night, but wasn't able to get a good enough view of it installed, to get a photo for you.

"chessmanmark, what do have for baffle spacing? Is it me or is you water flowing over you middle baffle? looks like its working perfect though."

I don't have anything spacing the baffles, just silicone holding the partitions. I originally had Plexiglas which didn't hold well, so I replaced it with glass panels which work much better. It isn't water flowing over the center, what you see is filter floss because I recently put sand in the display and wanted to filter out some of the debris.
