Life expectancy of Engineer Goby ( convict goby)

My goby is swimming aroung backwards and very odd.. ( he is like 12" long) i dont kow if he is dying from age , from being attacked or has something logded in his throat, he never come very far out of his hole but today he is all over the tank very eratic..

Are you talking about convic goby ell. Nice fish ,move a lot of rock and sand.
In captivity 15 yrs and up

yes i am .. he musta choked on a rock, or go stung by something..
great fish...gonna get a new one right away..
