I have an overhead sump near my 150gal fish only tank and want to improve mechanical filtration.
Being an overhead sump, I mechanically pump water to the overhead sump instead of the normal overflow drain method that most folks use.
I'm thinking of adding a Lifegard Aquatics AF-94 filter module. Probably the double tall one. They've been around for a long time but don't hear much about them.
Questions: Are the AF-94 modules easy to service? How is changing the pleated cartridge? Any thoughts about these units (including the heater and chemical/bio units) are appreciated.
