hi! can I run a Mars aqua 165 watt with a current ramptimer pro or will I need something diff.to control ramping?

current makes ramptimer pro I like the timer but want to upgrade to better lighting

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think most Chinese black box led fixtures will work with the ramp timer without some serious DIY work as well. That is assuming it's similar to asking them to ramp with an Apex Controller, which also doesn't work.
Look at Reef Breeders Photon V2 or the Viparspectra. They both make reasonably priced fixtures with built-in controllers. The RB Photon V2 will control all 6 colors independently.
