So i was doing some maintenance and i guess i flipped the timer switch to power. Went out for the night and came home the next afternoon. Oooh crap!!! I have some new red montipora and a few large toadstools in my commerson's giant frogfish tank the corals are under 2x 150 watt halides, montipora about a foot below the lights! The toadstools look droopy now but still are putting out polyps just not to maximum length, the montipora looks unfazed. How long till the sps starts to bleach if its gonna at all. Should i leave the lights off for a few days?

Thanks for the quick reply. Also what are the best temps for montipora im running around 77 degrees w lights on?

I left mine on for 23 days not too long ago - flipped the switch "on" and forgot to turn it back to the timer. Everything lightened up for a few weeks, but was OK after that. Not an awesome moment, but nothing died.

Nothing died. Growth slowed and most stuff lightened up, but it has all recovered. Almost every one of my 'nems split in the next few days, but nothing died. FWIW - everything else was perfect, so I am sure that this helped.
