One of our Lineatus wrasses is swimming abnormally, rear end seemingly paralyzed (or nearly). Looks to be struggling at times using only pectoral fins, then "free falling" to the bottom, or swimming sideways (listing).
The searches we did were inconclusive, but here were a few:

That last thread really had us worried, so we pulled him out of the tank today and into the hospital tank, and dosed maracyn-plus.
Hope this clears up :worried:
Has anyone seen this kind of thing that has anything to add?
Clearly, the stress of hospitalization may be worse than the ailment if the cause winds up being injury due to ingestion of foreign object or "head trauma". If it is bacterial in nature, then I suppose we've done the right thing and just have to hope for the best! Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
