Our
P. antennata is anything but shy, and engages in an "odd" display behavior (flared gills, partially extended mouth), but it really doesn't seem to be a warning as much as it is a greeting. It will even "call" Renee by making a clicking sound if it sees her at one of the other tanks (I'm guessing it clicks its pharyngeal teeth, but who knows?).

P. antennata, I'd actually suggest
P. mombassae, as IME, they're more of an "out front" fish more of the time. In fact, most of the time these two fish are often confused with each other.
