Am I looking at this correctly? The fish is swimming upside down or is the granulosa colony growing upside down?

Really crafty picture lol!!!

Wow, nobody wants to volunteer. I will. These may not be either the best photos or the most high end corals or the most mature colonies but I love them.

I thought it would be helpful if we could create a list of high end SPS corals, all in one place. I'm sure there are many people that want really nice corals, but don't know what to look for. Just because a retailer gives a coral a fancy name doesn't mean they're offering a "fancy" coral. We need a list of those corals that have proven to keep their color, and are worthy of the names they're given.

So, please help out and post those beautiful pic's, along with the corals name. You know you want to show off anyway. :lolspin:

E, where have you been ? It's chrisd, you know from the other forum. :)

I picked up a few frags not to long ago. I'll try and get a few pictures up tomorrow.

Mars the red planet ORA
Superman montipora ORA
Oregon blue tort. ORA, Although this one I'm not sure that's what it is. Looks kinda like a slimmer to me. Maybe someone on here can confirm it.

and on:

If I have mislabeled anything, please correct--I have made the occasional error. And certainly if you have better representative photos, please share.

EC- although many here won't remember this... I think it all started with Stuber's Acropora

I bet you could do a whole thread on this history. For me I think the first name I can remember was the Green Slimer.

Of what hasn't been mentioned yet I'd add---

Paletta pink tip--this is the first acro that people point to when they see my tank.

Orange Monti Turgescens-- I would put this up against any named SPS for brightness in orange.

These are some awesome pics. I have something to aspire too. Now if I can find some more space in my tank ;)
