Live fish from petco online.

Quality Marine supplies, LiveAquaria and Divers Den. The fish ordered online from Petco are dropped shipped, the same exact thing that Liveaquaria does. My LFS orders most of their stuff from Quality as well and almost all of my fish came from Quality. I feel as though they are the best suppliers. Petco uses another supplier as well, at least the one near me. Not all Petcos are greates equally and it's not the supplier met of the time but the actual Petco that gets the fish that determines the overall health.
 
i recently bought 3 butterfly koi and a dragonfish from petco, they're all in good shape but they were hungry a'f whenever i bought them. i guess they never feed their fish
 
if everyone is doing the gold standard, which is QT and medicate all their new fish, then I don't think it matters where you get your fish from. If it is DOA then you get your credit back anyways.

Petco does have a very large selection of fish besides the low prices, so thats very tempting. But I would still order from DD cuz of the WYSIWYG factor.
 
I have never used them but, plenty of local guys have with great success. I would order from them he got some huge angles and triggers are were awesome! With no problems just thought I would drop my .02 in the pot!

I've ordered from petco before and the fish were in great shape. I would order from them again.
 
I am considering ordering from the online Petco as well. I have a QT ready to go. I do not have a local Petco. There are simply a few Petco fish online for good prices that I can't get at all or for the right price near by.
It seems like there are multiple suppliers for the actual stores depending on the store's circumstances. But if QM is the only supplier for the online and the fish don't touch Petco facilities, this seems ideal. Especially with the guarantee.

That's a lot of fish... take pictures of the unboxing and post them for us. I'm curious as to how it turns out.
 
Go big or go home lol. I read that it is better to introduce a bunch of new fish at once as if you drag it out over a year some become territorial

How big is your tank? I'd nix the clown - I think it's the most aggressive out of all of them & maybe/probably trigger an ich outbreak if not bully the sensitive ones to death ... I am curious to see how they're shipped - Good luck bro!
 
Only other fish I have are all still under warranty for 10 more days. Not the ideal way to do it but my 30 gallon qt won't hold all those fish. It actually might if they are small enuf
 
Haven't placed the order. I am on the fence about the clown. Might wait and add him last in about 6 months while others grow up
 
Yeah, pass on the clown. I would also choose between the powder blue and brown. Your other 2 fish are only 4 days old in your tank? I think maybe you are rushing it, but that's neither here nor there. Definitely let us know how the shipment comes.
