Live Rock

Gotta say, this rock is the best I've seen since Marshall. It's the best of both worlds in that it is both branchy and porous. Unlike Tonga rock which was all branches (and quite cool), this Manado provides very unique shapes & vivid colors. Imagine if a Tonga rock and a Bali Alor rock hooked up and had a child - this would be Manado.

Jeremy,

I was all set and ready to receive my rock tomorrow but I received an email around noon today from Josh V. that i will not receive the rock tomorrow, i can not get free shipping even though my order was clearly over $175, and then proceeded to say that he can ship the rock for next friday using next day air or ship it UPS ground. Im confused as to why he would say UPS ground when we all know that would basically turn my live rock dead. Could you shed some light or some advice on this please? You could PM me if you'd like.

Sorry for the inconvience,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Liverock is one of the exclusions from our free shipping unfortunately. We can however ship the rock out via UPS Ground on Monday, which is a 2 day transit to you, for arrival on Wednesday. Ground shipping on this would come out to about $15. Let me know!

Thanks,
Jeremy

thanks for your response JG1. Jeremy, how should i go about finishing my order now? Josh V. never responded to the email.

Thanks!

Jeremy thanks for all of your help but i think i might of actually found a much cheaper route locally. Youve been great and ill be recommending you guys to everyone.

hey guys all i can say is WOW.....it dosent even do this rock justice. it is a true work of nature. I am still drooling all over the floor. branching sexiness is how id describe it...

Looks like I'll be getting a batch of that new rock from you guys in a week or so. Any benefit to the uncured over the cured rock, except the slight price difference?

Our uncured rock is pretty clean when it comes, so there's not a lot of dieoff and curing that needs to be done, however there is still the chance for a small cycle with it. With our cured rock I'm pretty comfortable saying that 99% of hobbyists who use it do not see a cycle at all in a new setup.

Just got 70lbs of the Manado uncured live rock today and it looks great. Very nice looking pieces and pretty lightweight. It was packed expertly, still smelled fresh (as fresh as you can get for uncured), and very little breakage during shipping. Just a handful of rubble in 70+ lbs of rock.

All the rubble I got

70lbs in roughly a 75 gallon tank.

All in all very satisfied. Thanks to Kevin, Jeremy and the rest of the crew at Premium Aquatics.
