Longhorn Cowfish strange white protuberance

Hi all! Found a strange white think on my cowfish. It almost looks like a worm or something. Is this something to be worried about and is it treatable? I just took him out of quarantine a few days ago after treating for ich. And now see this. Any help is appreciated

give it a quick freshwater bath for 3-5 min and see if it falls off. i am not sure what that is honestly.
