Hey guys I'm looking to see if anyone has a aiptasia eater that needs a new home..

I seem to be on the losing end of this ongoing battle.. so far chemical treatment works, but is impossible to nail enough of them..Pepermint shrimp..well I put 4 in there and it seems like they became a meal for something lol..

In the Buffalo area..

Thanks

used copperbands are difficult to come by........

Klein's is a better bet. Still.... you might need to make a trip to a LFS to pick up a new model.

haha I'm getting that feeling..From what I've been reading the new models on both is a 50/50 crap shoot..

Copperbands wile a tad less likely to much inverts, their beaks make having one survive the first week is so...so

Others say Kleins, wile a bit more money have a good chance to adapt to tank life..But may eat much more than wanted lol

I think I'm getting to point where it might be a good idea to get a aips predator and take the risk though..

might wanna look into berghia nudibranch

These work very well, however, they take a considerable amount of time to colonize before the become useful. Also, after the aiptasia are eradicated, they will die off leaving your tank defenceless to the next aiptasia outbreak.
