Looking for Compact Powerheads for tucking behind LR Wall

Looking for a couple low wattage Compact Powerheads to tuck behind my LR Wall and add some more water flow.

Anyone know of any, was going to use Maxi-Jet 900's but if there is something as efficient and smaller I would definitely like to know about them.

Thanks

I would suggest the MJ 900s. Small and very reliable. Good luck
yeah, thats what I'm probably going to go with. only 8.5 watts and pretty good flow after you cut the nozzle off.

trippyl, I'll place them where I'd only have to move one rock or so.

thanks

It's a big tank you have there...why not use MJ1200s?

I can run 2 mj900 for less than it would cost to run 1 mj1200. mj1200 aren't very efficient.

Flame bait!

Flame bait!

I'll probably get slammed for recommending them, but I've had great luck with Rio powerheads (and SEIO pumps, too). Not a single failure with five or six powerheads, whereas I've had one OEM and one retail MJ go south on me.

One of the reasons I like them is that the Rio models through the 800 are very small and mountable in tight places, as they have compact housings and use four small suction cups attached to the housing itself, rather than on a mounting bracket. The 800 has a very respectable flow - close to the MJ 1200, I think.

Right now I'm using a Rio 1100 behind my rock wall (tight fit), a SEIO 620 for circulation, and an Rio 800 in my CPR Aquafuge overflow box.
