How old is this tank?

it looks very nice.

Everything from my old 120gl was moved over to the 225gl in May 2005. The 120gl was 2 1/2 years old.

Nice.

How long did it take to get the Orange Monti Cap to get that big?

I have had that cap for almost two years now.
It really took off in the newer tank.
it was the size of a quarter when it was purchased.

Since no one else has asked, I will.

Whatcha hiding behind that Instant Ocean towel, perhaps........... FRAGS ???? :)

Is the tank sitting level?

I was actually thinking about redoing the frame. Maybe getting a black brushed metal one. I was moving into the house it the frame was a little rushed.

If I can model a tank to look half that good I'll be in reefkeeper heaven. Unreal.......that is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

WOW!!!!

Sunny, that tank is absolutely breathtaking!!! I remember when you were about to quit a few years back on reef sanctuary over algae issues. Looks like you got those fixed.

You ought to put some of these pic's on that thread to show what perseverance can accomplish.

looks great, i like the aquascaping and all of the corals and fish look great as well, very cool setup. deep tanks like that always give cool possibilities for aquascaping and i really like how you took advantage of that, it looks great.

i modified your skimmer a bit :D :

I fought every kind of Algae you could have.
Dinoflagelletes, Racemosa, Hair Algae, red slime.

My current 225gl has the same water and rocks, so I think its Algaeproof now. :D

Kinda like having many, many vaccine shots.
