LPS is not happy

If anything the change to IORC should have helped the corals with all the "extras" they put in RC. The change in salt should not have any impact on your livestock except keeping your levels pretty stable.

That was my reasoning in switching over. Just got
Home from work, brain, GSP, Kenya tree all good. Other LPS and yes even the aptasia all closed up still.

Kevin keep using the RC, GSP and Kenya trees aren't any indication of something good going on. Can you post some updated pictures? So your new water parameters and using RC now for barely a week. Keep them stable and see how it goes. But please post up some pictures that are recent.

There's excess phosphate in the tank, or the hair algae wouldn't be there. Corals aren't happy with excess phosphate. Two possible sources---a ro/di filter cylinder going out; or rock/sand releasing it over time. Some rocks have more than others, and until it has all released and been sopped up by something like gfo, it will continue to be at least some issue.

I have a two little fishes phosban reactor. Going to grab some GFO. For a 28g tank, how much do you thing I should tumble?
