what is the smallest LTA you have seen?? i just picked up what i believe to be a baby LTA.. it is about the size of a 50 cent piece.. it has a bright green foot, and stripes from where the tentacles start towards the mouth.. not sure if it is a LTA, or a BTA but it is def. one of the two..the number of tentacles is crazy for the size, i did not notice a verrucae but it is still small, and still retracts fast when i even go near it, tough to tell, and it also does not bubble.. i will post a pic when i get my camera back.. what is the smallest LTA you have seen??

i saw a bta inside a turbo shell for sale, its foot was less than a quarter. I woulda bought it if i thought it would stay in there. it was so cool

thats the problem i have saw tons of small BTAs especially this size.. thay had couple BTA's from the same shipment the same size come in but none looked anything like this one..the white stripes toward the mouth just like an LTA..

Is it in the sand or the rocks? I haven't witnessed or heard of a fast retracting bta. I've read that an lta in sand can rapidly retract into the sand when disturbed. I haven't seen small ltas, but I wouldn't rule it out.

i place it in the rocks due to the size.. found a nice spot for it.. it has stayed so far.. it retracts very fast.. i have had large LTA's before that preferrd rocks over sand and some that preferred the norm f sand.. it will have to grow a little before i am sure i guess..
