My plan was to frag my hammer but after closer inspection, I didn't have enough "branching" to frag it. so I just cut it down and glued it to my rock work.

July 4th

I am back after a 3 day trip to my uncles in Indianapolis. He has a 75 gallon tank and it was very exciting to see what I might be into once I am older! I was lucky enough to get some frags of florida recordia mushrooms from him. Since I am back from a little vacation I will be posting daily again!

Very nice! I tried to get my hands on some Ricordia this weekend but was unsuccessful a local online vendor is having a sale and ran out.

I finally got a 20 gallon brute trashcan to keep salt water in for water changes. This will help me do weekly water changes!

The photo above is my new orange acan. The LFS gave it to me for 20 bucks for two heads but after some closer looking(once I got home) I found two smaller heads. So that worked out!

This is my new Florida recordia mushroom coral, my uncle has a 75 gallon and gave me 5 "heads" of this for free.

yeah totally! I think one of my first post on this website was my aquascape on your one thread you created! I hope to see some updated pics on your tank soon as well.

very busy weekend with a graduation party, finally have some time to post!
I am starting to notice spots of coralline algae on rock! I have some extra cash from grad party and luckily the LFS by me is doing a buy one get one on all fish and coral. so woohoo.

looks so clean and nice. i love the holes in the rocks, perfect for placing corals. has the anemone stopped moving around?

Yes the anemone has finally stopped moving around. sadly it picked a horrible spot. It is tucked in the back of the rock work and I think my clownfish have a hard time finding it. I think its been 2-3 week and I have yet to see them host in the anemone.

With some extra graduation money I was able to put some money into the tank! I ordered the tunze nano 3152 ato, I have been doing a bunch of research and this looked like the best all in one ato system for the price. I was going to do the IM hydrofill, but I found out you need to buy a pump with that one. I also ordered one custom caddy media basket for one of my overflows. I will be running purigen, gfo and some type of catcher. I did my order through marinedepot since there youtube account on ATO's helped tremendously.

Lastly at the end of the month my LFS is either doing buy one get one or 50% off all corals. I plan on buying 4-5 corals at this event.

Coral list of what I already have:
one green tipped torch hammer with two heads
four heads of an orange acan
3-4 Florida recordia mushrooms
one purple birds nest

Leave some comments on corals you guys think I should pick up.
