Airman - i'll get some tonight.

zmalexander - w/ all my medical fiascos i could have used free sevice!! don't ginks me like that :( :( not cool!

otolith - sure sure try to me not feel so inferior! you'll earn a hell of a lot more then i will ;) but i guess i never dread going to work...so it doesn't seem like work :D

joedelt - i'll get some tonight. the water looks REALLY clear today :D

it's 2:30 and NO power loss. the rain stopped about 9-11am and it slowly started snowing. just w/in the last hour the wind has REALLY picked up.

someone i know said that the power is going to go out AT LEAST ONCE today. something about Whappa (sp?) the company that gets us our power is up north a ways will try to get some power to other areas and needs to reroute or some crap. i know there are towns w/ in 15miles that are out (SMALL towns like 1,000 people) so i'm lucky that we aren't. i HOPE that we don't...ok i KNOW that we won't.

i bought a battery powered air pump and have my 350w (700w peak) power inverter for my car ready to go to power a heater and my tunze. w/ the air, the heater and tunze running i should be a-ok for quite a while...i would think!

THE POWER WILL STAY ON...THE POWER WILL STAY ON...everybody now pray w/ me :D

And that's more important than not liking your job and getting paid more. :) Money doesn't buy happiness, I know that from growing up fairly "poor." I'd rather be happy all the time with just enough to get by, than to have all the money in the world and be unhappy. :)

Hope your power stays on. If not, it seems like you got things covered. Remember that a heater is really going to suck the power down fast, so try to limit its use unless you really need it. Do you have gas for heat? If so, just crank it up 78 and you'll be good to go. :)

Hope you are on a BIG circuit. When they fix the power, they will always go to the biggest first. I wouldn't worry though.

Eric,
have you got Styrofoam left over from any coral/fish boxes? Might want to start sizing them up for insulation around the tank.
Just in case...

Nick

i'm not worried...seems the worst is over...just blowing now. nothing big.

i have plenty of gas in the two cars so i can run the heater is the tank quite a while :D

Why does it have a ball valve instead of a gate valve? Ball valves are a lot coarser to adjust than a gate valve.

One thing I think ER needs to do is build a base that sticks out on the side of the RC pump so the skimmer doesn't fall over when not full of water.:(

i guess those ballvalves are supposed to be nice...i guess...never used it

i think that the base would be a good idea also. kind of like on my RM recirc skimmer

Excellent!!! I have to say, after having recently gone though your whole thread, your photography skills have really gotten GREAT!! What do you think made the difference (besides just skill
;)

Tank looks awesome. "Like hot dog awesome?" "Like a thousand hot dogs awesome, sir" (Quote from Eddie Izzard stand up) Sorry a bit obscure.

I'm really gettin antsy. I just got my AC Jr today. Now, all I really need is for BRI to finish my stand and canopy.
