I was thinking Mandarins and Ruby Scooters in the future.. not sure what else for sand dwellers.

I'm on the fence with my diamond gobies.. they do a great job cleaning the sand, but irritates all the frags on sand bed. and they are impossible to catch after..

any other suggestions?

No diamond gobies. Not worth the headache. Cool fish though.

I hope you plan on running a screen top 24/7. That's a big list of jumpers

yup. John is suppose to come over to measure the screen top. I lost way too many wrasse in these couple years. They can find the tiniest 1" crack on the screen top

Can you post pics of the screen top? I like the Artfully Acrylic ones but was wondering of other acrylic folk make something like that.

Watchman gobies paired with snapping shrimp are always need to see. They'll stir up the sand a little but not a whole lot.

Ill post pictures when it's ready. Still doing measurements. I have to fit in the overflow box cover and the 4 sea swirls. Easier for someone to do measurement in house.

I knowww.. but QT is going to take months.

Here's my fish list so far... not sure to buy the wrasse pairs or trios.. not sure how many anthias each... waiting on the experts for some advice

- Bartlett's Anthias (~3)
- Dispar Anthias (~3)
- Bimaculatus Anthias (~3)
- Fathead Sunburst Anthias (~2)

- Kaudern's Cardinalfish (~3)
- Blue/Green Reef Chromis (~9)
- Firefish (???)
- Exquisite Firefish (???)
- McCosker's Flasher Wrasse (~2)

theres a more then good chance that your pairs or trios of fairy wrasses will turn male. That's a lot of males if it happens. A shoal of 6+ yellow tangs looks great.

does Artfully Acrylic do custom shapes? My biggest issue is designing it around the Sea Swirls.

I chose John because he's coming to my house to do measurements. I have never seen Advanced Acrylic lids before

that's not going to be fun... i was hoping some female could lessen the aggression between the males. I have Flame, Rhomboid, and Lineatus male already. They harass each other all day, I can hear them jump and hit the nets

Artfully Acrylic is a sponsor on the other big forum. They do any shape. I sent them measurements and a pic or two and fits like a glove.

Great. I'll give them a call tomorrow, have them design my QT lids. I'll be able to compare both AA's works side by side :D

If AA can make a "dreambox" pvc acrylic sump then I'm pretty sure he can make a sweet looking lid.

Build looking amazing so far. Can't wait to see it completely filled with those bad boys ATI on.

Man one leak after another.. problem with these hard plumbing is once the sump shifts position, it's so hard to fit it back. These two sumps are a few hundred pounds connected. Then the bulkhead leaked after i adjusted pipes.. then sump connection leaked again..

5hrs later.. i think we are all good now. I hate plumbing. Next set up im leaving it to the professionals

I should have warned you. I did all my plumbing myself too. When I was done, I was so frustrated, I wish I had paid someone to do it. Just gotta find someone that will take the time and make it super clean. Next tank lll def hire someone.

ya I've been following a few large tank builts. much easier and relaxing to have this part done by the pros. Since I don't know plumbing parts, had to buy tons of extra from BRS. Now I have to deal with shipping extras back.

Anyone have recommendation on a good LFS that works on plumbing?

I thought you setup a bean animal? If the bean animal was loud, something was wrong.

I might be able to help diagnose, I went through lots of issues with mine before I got it dialed in perfect.
