M59 and H33 differences?

Hi guys. I have a couple of high-bay lights I got from my stepfather's business. They were free and so I'm going to use them. The way the aquarium is going to be set up will have them hidden up inside a wall anyway above the tanks. I really want to use the Iwasaki 6500K MT400D/BUD, but I can'f find anyone who actually sells the BUD version, just the horizontal one. So that leaves me with the MT400DL/BUD. The problem is, the DL is made for H33 fixtures, not M59. From what I can tell though, they're basically the same thing.

I can say this much about my ballast for sure. It's a Lumark M59 magnetic ballast that is CW type. The model number on it is MHLM-400-MT-U.

The bulb that WAS in it when I got it, was a Phillips H33GL-400/DX 400Watt Mercury Vapor. So IT runs just fine in that fixture, am I wrong in assuming the Iwasaki MT400DL/BUD will run just fine in my M59 magnetic ballast?

What are my risks here? What's my most likely problem, and what's my worst-case problem?

Thanks

The Iwasaki DL version will work and many people have used them on a CWA M59 Metal Halide ballast without any problems but the manufacturer only recommends the DL version to be used on a Reactor (R) H33 Mercury Vapor or High Reactance (HX) H33 Mercury Vapor ballast.

The D version seems to be more common at places that sell horticultural lighting.

The main difference with the D and DL version is the starting circuit within the bulb. The only problem I could see using the DL version is the lamp and/or ballast can be stressed during start up and restarting when used on a M59 ballast. This could shorten the lamp and ballast life over time.

Thank you for the feedback! Do you have any idea where is a good place to find the D version? If not, how about the DL?
