Macro images of my itty bitty sps.

These are images from my JBJ 28 gal tank. The tank underwent a battle with dino back in July 2010. I decided to take a break from the hobby and took the tank down. In Sept 2010 I could not stand it any longer and decided to give it another go. My plan was a simple softie and LPS tank, but as plan often do, it went south. I started to accumulate small acropora and other sps frags and yet another journey into sps began anew.

Lighting is a Radium 20K.
The tank was set up again without a skimmer or fuge and remains that way.
Dosing is Kent Marine Part A/B with some additional Magnesium.
Flow consist of a Koralia #4 and 2.
West Coast chiller.

While it is nothing spectacular it's my little project that I am really enjoying. Most frags started out as sickly little pieces that others donated or small frags.

I have been enjoying this forum for months, and appreciate all the information provided.

Thank you for viewing.

I love macro shots. These are awesome!

Thank you GhostCon1.

I absolutely love macro images. I do not care if the images are of corals, inverts or fish.

Awesome pictures!
Welcome back, :wavehand:SPS is addictive.

Thank you for the kind words and yes I have never been able to go a couple months without a tank running. Learning to curb my desire to purchase new sps is indeed a challenge, but nanos do not allow a lot of growing room.

Nice shots!

Nice shots and I love your selection of sps.

Very nice collection of corals. :)

Great shots! I too love macro shots and top down shots.

Very nice

Thanks all for taking a look and the kind words. When I get brave, and it grows in, I will throw up a full tank shot. Need to work on the scape and removing the GSP that I allowed to take over the back wall. :hmm3:
