The only time I had real prepciption problems is when my DSB was glueing itself into a brick. If you have a sandbed you might want to check that it is not hardening. When that happened in my old 75G it sucked up cal/alk/mag like no tommorrow.
My sand bed's fine & no precipitation. I'm just going to keep doing VERY regular water changes & see how it goes hopefully it will stay to NSW which i'll be happy with. Thanks for all your advice guys much appreciated! Lets hope my acro's & monti's don't sufer to much!
