I have been treating a new magnifica. It's on day5. The mouth if fully closed. The tentacles still go through inflating and deflating cycle. It crawled half way up the mug, but not completely on top of the mug yet.
Today I discovered that it has a 1/2" tear about 1/2" below from where the tentacles end. So it is not necessarily at the bottom where the foot attach to the surface. I don't know how else to describe it. If it was to completely spread out on a surface like the mertensi, I would think that part also stick to the rock.
Can it repair itself? If not and it is doomed, I can perform a surgical procedure to stitch it up. Do you have any suggestion? Watching it struggle is heart breaking.
