I've ordered my AI unit, when will the Profilux be available to control it? Will it be new hardware or a software upgrade?

I have to tell you, I saw the AI units at MAX. You cand put your hand on the top or the bottom and they are slightly warm to the touch, so I don't know if if would be too concerned with heat being trapped anywhere. JMHO

What kind of cable do you need to control the AI fixture through the Profilux unit?
I too am going to be pulling the trigger on a Profilux with the AI fixture.

Thanks! I didn't expect there to be a lot of heat, but thought it would be good to have some means of expelling it anyway. I will still put top vents in the canopy, but maybe just a couple of small ones.

It is an RS232 cable with some cross over wires, so not a generic cable.

I have a shipment leaving Germany this week I hope to have some in time for this.

Also at this very early stage of our tie up it may be worth you contacting chris at Ai directly and getting him to include the cable for you, this could be a much quicker route for now.

Chris from AI and I cleared all details of the interface ProfiLux<->AI

We start production of these cables immediately and ship them ASAP!

Matthias has kindly supplied these 4 FOC in future they will be around $20 plus shipping.

They will be sent to Todd who will forward onto you with a nominal shipping charge to cover his costs.

This has not been discussed, and is not in the foreseeable future as a standard or optional feature.

Perhaps a stick on red LED that could adhere to the bottom of the fixture would be an option.
