Man made back wall

My new tank only has an 18" depth and I think I'll try my hand at a concrete back wall that I can rest LR against to optimize the swimming space within the tank.

Have any MARS members done this before? I would definitely like to see the results and pick your brain if you have.

Ah, I've seen this kind of thing before. Theres a product that has been used similiarly.. it's like foam in a can. It's called Great stuff I believe.. I once thought about using it backw when I was thinking about concealing pvc rock racks.. They use that to make faux walls and stuff like that...You might like it...

If you search under the large tanks forum, couple of people have used it.. I'll pm when I find it.

I search when possible, but the search function on here almost never works!

I have seen AirInHere post up a faux wall that he/she did. I'm hoping he/she will reply with some pointers on this.

This months Tank of the Month did this. Here is the thread. And, Great Stuff doesn't seem to hold that well.
