Mandarins together?

Quick question, can you keep a green mandarin and red mandarin in the same tank? I know that keeping mandarins of the same species is a big no no, but not sure about two of different species. 75 gallon, very mature tank, with established pod population, so food is not an issue. Thanks in advance.

The red mandarin is believed to just be a color variant of the green mandarin, so they are considered the same species. The only way I would keep two is if one is male and the other is female.

I believe you can house more than one female of Dragonet together (regardless of species); but only one male (again, regardless of species). Be sure your pod population can support them all though.
