March meeting - who is coming and what should we eat?

This month's meeting is looking sweet. Grant has invited us to his house to see his beautiful tank, there's a discussion / demo and some nice frags for the raffle.

Here is Tom's original thread: meeting

Grant has offered to fire up his q, and I think we should take advantage of it. We could do a potluck type thing as we did at Steve's last month, or we could go in together on a nice chunk of protein to share. Personally I could go for some of those cute steaks Bob brought last time. What would you like to do?

Please holler with your intentions so we can get a rough head count. I'm in. :)

Thanks for posting Ken I have spoken to Bob and he has arranged for enough of the Denver cut steaks for all so the the meat is covered so if the rest of you bring a side dish of some sort and maybe some chips and such we should be good. If there are some non carniverous types please bring something you like to eat. Thanks all and see you Sunday Grant P.S. don't forget the time change this weekend(spring forward ;) )

I'll be there (as the new guy :wavehand:)!

Never been, obviously, so not sure what to bring/what people like. Soda and chips?

-Troy

I talk to Bob earlier and he got the meet covered, maybe we can chip in to help him pay for it?

I'll be busy with the frags and stuff so I might not have time to bring any food, but I'll love to chip in to help pay for the food.

Once again, "meeting weekend" is the same as my "publishing weekend"... :-(

Looking forward to seeing folks again someday... have fun this time around!

- Nate

P.S. Tom - don't forget to have folks bring frags for the frag tank you set up for the club a few months ago (how's the collection coming so far? pics?? :-) ).

Nate, it seems like you publish every weekend LOL, we will rotate and move the meetings to different days each month to catch more members.

The frag tank is going great growing wise but the number of frags are not increasing as fast as I would like. Hopefully by Christmas we will have plenty of frags for our year end members only frag swap party.

Glad to hear frag tank is coming along... I might have some more "hardy" frags to donate in another month or two.

My publishing usually happens during the second weekend of the month, and I'm usually tied up with it from the time the market closes on Friday until I post it to the website on Sunday evening...

For those of you who are "movie-types," I'm excited to share that my newsletter was used as a prop in the movie "Limitless" that is coming out next Friday... you can learn more on my newsletter's facebook page if you're interested (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Nates-Notes/166708970041839)

I'll bring some soft drinks, light beer and ales. And I'm probably going to do some twice baked potatoes. Should go well with the beef.

I'll be there, but may not be around long enough to eat. I'll about bringing a side either way, but will have to leave by 2.

Mmmm, fudge...

Looking forward to seeing everyone. Don't forget about the time change! It may be an hour later than you think it is. :)
