You don't have to be an expert to understand the parasite's life cycle and develop a solid quarantine protocol based on that understanding. Crypto prevention is pretty straightforward, and prevention obviates the need to ever worry about fallow periods, stress or disease "management." For example, perform TTM on every new acquisition from the get go and you'll never see it in your display.
I didn't say the life cycle was hard to understand. Read my post. I said that there are variables that are not clear cut in all cases. Just to satisfy my curiosity, I'm currently trying TTM on my resident fish. I plan to keep them in quarantine for a full 72 days while the tank runs "fallow". . . I will keep you posted. I'm a biologist, so I assure you that protocols will be run as perfectly as possible. If crypto returns in the display on any of my resident fish, then I give up!!!:deadhorse1:
