Decided to share my recent attempt at coral photography with a top down box. Not as easy as I thought it would. Still trying different manual settings and I definitely need to pick up a macro lense.

Included some decent size mini colonies as well as those little stubborn frags that haven't grown at all after a whole year.

Tank is lit with ATI Powermodule 8 bulb. All bulbs on when pictures were taken.
Photos are untouched. Still messing with Lightroom to try and enhance the pictures.
 
Great looking pieces. I like the pictures as well. I prefer darker pictures like this, helps to see the colors and pulls that blue wash out look from the photo

Thanks! I'd like them a bit more bright but I then the pics get blurry. Need to play with the shutter speed.
 
Found an old picture and thought I'd share. The first pic was taken about 10 months after I changed up to sps dominant.

After fragging quite a bit the past few months I still have many touching each other. Bad move not giving enough space between frags when I first got started.

Ignore the small frags that refuse to grow. Some have grown very little if any in the past two years.
