I just got done remounting the doors and canopy. I went and picked up the 1/2 inch styrofoam, a pair of vho end caps, and a wavy sea.

I also went and got a harlequin shrimp today to help with my asterina infestation. I had a small colony of super orange magma palys that have been consumed by those little buggers :(

(sorry about the flash)

I finished ordering most of the little plumbing parts today as well as my canopy fans. They had over 50 choices. That was way more than I could handle at this point.

Dude, what can I say.... Your 90 inspired me to give SPS a try, so who knows what your 180 will inspire me to do. Seriously man, the tank and stand look great and I can't wait to see it when it's all finished.

Why are you reading this post? You should be finishing your tank! ;)

are you going to add hardware?

I dunno. I am going to have to anti-Emma proof it somehow. :uzi:

Thank you for the great compliment, but that might be a little too much praise for my hooptie.

BTW, I should be working on the tank, but I keep getting notified on my iphone as I am subscribed to my thread. On top of that, I really can't lift the tank on the stand by myself. :)

I picked up two more LA mini's today (thanks Sam) and I was a little excited to see what it would look like.

I am also playing with the wavy seas to see how I can cleanly mount them. I cut holes in the eurobracing as an option. I did not want them blocking to much light from the tank. What do you think? If i leave them this way, I might need to get a coupler to extend the return lower in the water.

I don't think it will block any significant amount of light.
The mounts they come with would force me to place it in the corner of the eurobracing. I am afraid it will cause a shadow, but I won't know until I fire the lights. That is why I thought ahead and had them drill me some holes.

I voted 10 times for option #1 :) Option 2 takes up too much real estate towards the center of the tank. With your coral growing skills, keep the equipment closer to the edge ;)
