Ok, here you guys go; a full shot of the new tang. It looks so lonely out in the QT. I said I would leave him in there for a week. I have such a hard time QT'n fish :o

He's beautiful!

Thanks tbone. I have wanted one for a long time. The good thing about this tank is that I have gone through my "wow, this is cool" phase and I have assembled a list of fish that I like to choose from.

I do think I need to slow the stocking down a bit though. I have some blue eye cardinals coming in this week along with a trio of goodies later in the week

:lol2:

LOL, I was thinking the same thing, cuz every post from you lately is a new shipment of stuff coming in! :D

does the pic represent the true coloration of the tang? like a mix of a purplish, magenta?

Nice pictures, hope the tang pulls thru for you:)
Love the Harlequin shrimp I have been thinking about getting one to help control my asterinas. Do you have to supplement his diet with anything other then the asterinas?

Stacie- I think that their diets consist of starfish and more starfish. I had a Blue linkia, but it is now in my fuge.

What are Asterinas, those little starfish that grow like crazy?

Yep. Some people say they are safe, but tell that to the valentines day palys they ate. I also don't trust them on the base of my sticks as well

Sanpped some corals tonight

Sanpped some corals tonight

Tonight was the 1st attempt at shooting some of my corals since the tank transfer. I did want to get some different pics to document what things are looking like now so I can look back and smile. :p

How 'bout some plates

Thanks T. I shoot the Nikon D40X. I have only had it for about 6 months, so I still have a lot to learn. There are guys on here that are simply amazing in what they can capture. I am no where near them....yet :)

i love the 2nd and bottom plate, just sick!

mark the valetines day paly. thats not the same as the valentines day massacre from Atlantis is it?we saw those a few weeks ago there and they are awesome

Yep Davey, those were them. I started with 2, they grew to about 15 and I had only two left when I added the harlequin. During the move, I lost what was left. Oh well, that is the reefing game. This should look familiar (minus the color shift)

how's the calcium reactor working out? been online long enough for a review?

I stay away from those big boy cameras. :D
