She's a Beaut, Mark!!! Where'd you have her drilled??

There are the two holes in the eurobracing and then the three holes in the overflow. The two holes in the eurobracing is to allow for wavy sea returns.

Will you use powerheads in the bottom half of the tank??

I will start with a bb as I am chaniging out my complete system over a weekend. Adding sand right away will only cloud the tank and make it harder to work with. I will be adding a sand bed though. I do like the fact that the tanks bottom is black. I will also be blacking out the black pane. I will have my vortech's on each side and a 6055 that will be set on backwall.

Mark, I would suggest using the black vinyl that MD carries. I used it on my tank and it is awesome. It's real easy to apply (just use soapy water and squeegee the excess water) and it looks great.

Mark, Now you are part of an elite group...the "drive to Lee Mar in So Cal from Nor Cal and back in one day" group, LOL. Wow, I remember that day well. Every big bump in the road sent me into a little anxiety attack on the way home. Your tank looks like mine all grown up ;).

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome, Awesome :D.

Alicia- When I came to Napa and saw your cube, that is when I knew I wanted a Lee Mar. I have seen Karls and his is equally nice. I keep going out to the garage just to look at it. :)

You are not just looking...droooooling and chomping at the bit to get her set up. It will be fantastic. I can't wait to come and see it up and running.
I do love my little tank...sweet lines and very well built. Tom was the head builder at Lee Mar when I got mine three years ago, I figure he is still the guy, yes? no? He was so nice and personable.

Sang, sure did. left around 5:00 AM and arrived down there around 12:00 and left by 1:00 PM, back home by 8:30 PM...we stopped for dinner at Andersons Pea Soup Restaurant on I-5. I had always wanted to go in there, hahaha...the soup was pretty good :).

I am not sure who the head builder is these days. The salesman that John of Yourreef.com was speaking with was Brian.

I brought the stand and canopy home last night. Thanks again Lance.

I still have some more work to do, but I think you can get the idea :)

getting close! :)

I would say I still have about two months to go. That is if I can make a decision on my lighting by then.
