Gabe- I have a 6 inch mini colony of that. Once it takes off, it takes off. I was asking because I am one of those reef geeks that like to know where pieces come from. It looks so much like the steve elias stag. You said you got that from new alameda? I call it "3d's stag"

Just flip back two or three pages. My thread is laydened with pictures I almost got out the macro today, but I decided to clean the garage instead.

Whats up Sam? Thanks for the mini's I am planning on getting the tank on the stand on Friday. I have two packages coming in tomorrow and one more on Friday. From there, I will work on mocking everything up, but not gluing any pieces that I will need to separate the tank from the stand. Depending on how many little things I come across during the mock up, I should be pretty good after that.

I am planning on making a cool little shelf above the fuge to keep test kits, nori, etc on. I would then mount my fuge light to the underside of the shelf. Once I get the tank on the stand, I will be able to make my final runs for any extra fittings.

Yep; what a time for me to take a break. I am tracking two packages for delievery today. Too bad UPS doesn't deliver until later in the day. I am looking forward to getting my bulkheads and such. I can start plumbing in the sump. I hope my 57 watt UV is in today. Yep, I have to go to the LFS today. When I was there on Tues, there was a rhomboids wrasse, two achilles, a regal angel and an aficanus angel. I...must...resist...until...the...new...tank...has...water...

There were actually 3 Two had just came in from their Hawaii shipment. I wanted to risk it and get one, but right now my PBT and BT are stressing each other out. I need to get rid of my 5"BT. He missed out did not get called up to the "big leagues".

That's too bad. When will you have your 100g Rubbermaid set up? Maybe you can put the Blue in there. Achilles are hard to come by if you just walk into an LFS. Which LFS is this? I might give em a call.

They get them a lot since they have had a connection in Hawaii for a long time.

Fed Ex came this morning and UPS left about an hour ago.

First, 3 brand new 250 watt radiums from Greg at Reefgeek. Thanks Greg. His packaging and customer service is always top notch.

I also got my Schedule 80 Hayward bulheads and picked up my UV unit. Now the fun begins

Check out Pau Pau aquarium. There's one Shinjyuku which is very close to you, and also one over by Tsukigi fish market. If you have the time, eat somewhere in Tsukigi. Best Sushi you'll ever have

How many watts is that sterilizer? I've been thinking about getting one as I may be using NSW from time to time, especially for the initial fill.

Paul- This is the 25 watt version to mock things up. I will be using a 57 watt version but my LFS let me mock this up as they did not have a bulb for it. I guess they had taken it out and given it to someone who needed a replacement. No big deal.


I do need some plumbing help. I started a thread, so anyone please feel free to provide some knowledgeable feedback.

Well, I just took a look at it again and I am happy with my decisions. I need a couple other pieces that slipped my mind when I was at the supply house today so I decided to write it down this time.

I have two options of how I can plumb it cleanly and still be functional. I do need to see where the drain pipes T off and adjust my return lines from there. This is why I wanted to mock this up before I switch out the tanks.
