Mark, how do you like the 6105's so far? How did you manage to get them anyways? I've been trying for get a pair but have had no luck.

They do their job. I have one that is still breaking in. :( They are twice as large as the nanos and shade my vortechs. I got them really early as I was on three different preorder lists. I actually got a second pair for a friend already as well ;)

They are not really turned up as there are no acros in the tank to help diffuse the flow.......untill tonight:eek2:

can't wait to see your tank stocked again :)

With you, that could be two fold. Why don't you come to town for sushi before Jim leaves for tokyo?

I stopped by YourReef on th eway home tonight and picked up an extra bottle of revive and 8 Tubes of glue. This is starting to get serious

After a 30 minute levamisole (regular stregnth) and revive (1/2 dosage) combination mixture, I basted the corals with a turmey baster and then shook the vigorously in a new bucket of salt water.

Well, here goes nothing. :p Nothing too fancy, just your plain old 18-55mm lens to prove they are back in the display.

After looking those pictures, I am almost ambarrased :( Oh well...

Thanks Terry. I don't know which one you were referring to; but I don't know if you remember, but that was the one I had behind my rocks.

Looks good Mark. Thanks for the reply on the 6105's. I know they are bigger but I am replacing my 6100's so they will actually be smaller for me :D

Is that a jordani in the FTS? I just picked up a pair couple of weeks back. They are beautiful.

Thanks Kenny. Yes it is a Jodani. I had a trio, but the Bartletts kept chasing them. One female died in the tank, One female lept through the netting :(

Thanks Brian. I built and assembled this tank to house some of the great corals that we can collect in our hobby. Myaybe this whole experiece is what I needed to slow down a bit. It has allowed me to make some hard decisions of what corals I really like. I think I will have a whole new standard for if a coral is going into the tank or not.

Mark I had the same feeling after treatments. In fact I was looking a tank tonight and thinking of removing some corals that are not living up to expectations. I really make you think before buying. All around I feel that it was a good lessen learned, it's saved me a ton of money.:D

Wow, sorry to hear that. It's interesting that there is just no straight fast rules about how these animals interact in a captive system. What happens in one tank isn't necessarily the case in another. I have six Bartletts in there and none of them even looks at the jordani pair.

Once again, Thanks ;)

There are alot of people that I have conversed through PM's, emails, and phone calls over the last couple of months. I just wanted to say thank you again for being part of the solution. IT is not fun sometime as I am up to check the corals with a flashlight @ 4:30am, but its is always cool to see what chalices have the nastiest tentacles; definitely the flying saucer ;)

That is one a greatest things about our hobby. We, as humans, contain, observe and try to predict nature knowing in the long run that nature will always do what it wants to. It is a lot of fun trying though :)
