Hey Mark, just stopping by to say hello and show some encouragement. Your tank was absolutely stunning and I know it will be again with time. To tell you the truth I model my own tank after yours, Eds, and Jeremys. I have learned a lot from your tank thread and I can not count how many times I have drooled over your corals lol. My favorite though is the Dussumieri Acanthurus once I saw your fish I had to get one for my own. Don't give up be patient and in a few months this will be all over.

Wow. I'm feelin' the cross thread love. Haven't had too many claim model anything after my tank. Marks, sure, mine, not so much.
i guess it doesn't help when my keeps changing mid set up. One of these days, I just might let my corals grow un-interrupted for awhile.:lol:
Thank you for the kindest of words. It has been a rough go of it lately. I told myself that I would give it the best effort I could to see if I can beat these things. All the rest of the issues just deal with being in the hobby. If you think of all the ways a tank can fail, it is amazing when a system is up and running for a period of over 5 years.
Once again, thank you and good luck with your new project. Some of the people get a little too worked up here on RC over the smallest things

That exactly why we need more cat pictures!! Yes, PITA won't set on my shoulder like that now, its an old one.
It can be difficult to put so much effort in something and not develop a passion for it. Which is why I try to not take myself too seriously. On the flip side, if nobody cared......how do you improve and move forward? Its a balance that needs to be achieved.

Due to the weather I really did not do much except
sunpod upgrade
I was planning on doing another round of coral dips, but it was raining too much to do anything except watch some college football. I will work on finalizing the rockscaping before next weekend

Just a quick update.
I took last week off of my dipping regimen because the corals were not looking so hot. To my surprise this week, Many of the corals have decent colors and even some moderate growth.
After dipping each acro in revive and using a turkey baster to blow off the corals, I am pleased to say that I did not fing any more AEFW
I also rescaped the tank in preperation of moving a few corals back to the tank next weekend :dance: My PO4 has also come down a lot over the last couple of months as it measured today at .08 without a water change and with me moving the rocks around.
