Thank Jay. Are you in town? If so, lets hook up before the wifey gets back :p

Sorry bro, I'm actually in LA right now. I just got back from the LFS out here. There's a SICK brain at one of the shops. I'd pick it up if weren't for the drive back up. :/

Btw, I found another rainbow urchin

Are you free during the weekdays?

Mine is about 4" off of my sandbed. I know some people that keep them high and I know some people that keep them low.

The weekdays are pretty much a no go since I work late, commute and when I get home, its usually time for Emma to show me her tank. :p

Gotcha. We'll work something out. Out of curiousity, how long can corals survive in a bag?

I'm not sure. I would say at least 24 hours as long as temp is constant. I just think about when a coral is transhipped from Australia or other remote indo island location.

I've had success up to 48 hours in a container, floating in a sump/QT tank. I've never tried pushing my luck any more.

Mark, if I hadn't known about the tear down, I'd have said it just looked like you did a little pruning. Very impressive man! I got Tony off to the airport at 5 this morning. He was stoked about all the corals, but that wrasse was all he could talk about...

hey mark, I just finished browsing through your whole thread. man that's a lot of splits!!! NICE WORK!!

I'm jocking your tank bro. Not necessarily jealousy, more envy. :D I still got a lot to learn/ a long way to go before my tank can even start to look like yours.

JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Thanks Pete. Now that everything is behind me, I can say that I am glad that I did what I did and I also also glad that it is behind me. It was a good time having you, Darcy and Tony over for some tank time.

Thanks Josh. I understand about the envy thing. There is something to be envy about in almost every system I've ever visited.

looks really healthy .. again and again nice PE!...

Thanks Steve. I am still getting used to my corals post joculator. Its interesting how it "choses" certain corals over others. I wonder if its an oder they put off. Yes, I ponder the decisions that my fish make.

You are only allowed to post one picture a day! :D... I will comment here since I don't want to give you props on the other forum  nice Chalice! name?

:lol2:

Since I posted it in the other forum, I decided to update this thread as well.

That piece originated in the bay area. It was marketed it as the "darth maul chalice" back in early '07.
