What do you guys know about a Parachilinus lineopunctatus...Not your average flasher :D

I walked in for some frag plugs until I saw the tiny 2.5" Acanthurus Maculiceps and then I saw the Parachilinus lineopunctatus. The next thing you know is I grabbed a net and I new it was meant to be.

It looks more beat up in the picture than it really is. I watched it briefly at the store and it was picking at the rocks and thats all I needed to see to take the chance

Lovely present for your tank Mark...!! Great taste too!!

Thanks Ed. I tried one when the tank was still very new, but the achilles wanted no part of it. I plan on leaving it in the breeder container for a day or so to make sure it feeds well.

I removed my magnificent foxface last weekend so I will curious to see how the acanthurus dussumier will respond to the little guy.

Off to make a new batch of fresh food mix since the wife is still out of town :p

Dang Mark, VERY NICE!!!!!:eek2:

Thanks JT, this little guy is pretty crazy and active. I was really surprised to see the maculiceps, but I think I was even more excited about the Parachilinus lineopunctatus

Hopefully this Maculiceps fairs better than the last. If not, I've got a frag tank he can go in:D

Its about time. I think I will try to be patient with its release, so I'm thinking in the morning right before the wife gets back in town :D

Beautiful maculiceps Mark!

Curious as to why you removed the foxface as well. Mine is still in holding waiting to go in the display.

To be honest Sara, I just needed a change. It was an amazing fish and if I ever go bigger, I will get another, but I knew I was thinking about another tang or two, so I decided to get him out now.
