Thanks Mark. ... I was just worried it had developed some sort of habbit of eating something nice in your tank is all. I'll be putting mine in the tank shortly then ;)

No problems what so ever Sara. I will definitely miss it everytime I look through my old pictures, but I will just have to take some new ones.

Its about time. I think I will try to be patient with its release, so I'm thinking in the morning right before the wife gets back in town :D

No need to be patient anymore,
I was placing some more food in the containers this morning and after it hit me over the head with a chair, the maculiceps "escaped"

Good question Jeremy. The VHO's just came on but I have not bared to look at all. I haven't heard any splashing around, but thats about all I know.

Ahhhh.....I guess I spoke too soon, I forgot how pretty the dussumier is when it flares its fins to show dominance :p

Thanks Pete, the little guy is smaller than my green chromis', but its eating flake and meaty foods. Its also picking at rocks and snails so I feel better. It did get pretty beat up in the show of dominance, but its still kickin :)

Bad news for the wrasse though. I put him out of his mystery last night. My wrasses do not play nice to new arrivals :(

Sara, that is the grafted Simplex that still needs to recover from when I switched out my bulbs :( It did not like the new light. It has grown, but the blue color has shifteed to a lighter blue

I think it looks pretty nice. I like the way the colors are melting into each other. Maybe you don't need a frag to have both colors in order to show all colors after all huh?

Rudy, my original frag had both colors and my piece has both colors intertwined up the piece. If I remember correctly, the blue is the main color and without the green (grafted), it will not magically appear

Thanks Mark. I thought it might be that one from prior conversations I've read in the thread. I have avoided "sticks" for the past couple of years, but I'm looking for a few nice ones for the new system so I'm paying more attention now ;)

That makes sense. Have you tried fragging only a piece with one color to see if the others will develop? I'm guessing not because of how slow it grows though

Rudy, This piece has never been fragged. I was offered $300 by someone and $450 by another; but it still has never been fragged ;)

Wow i hardly ever see the grafted simplex, and it looks so nice. Where did you get that piece at, man your tank is lookin good.
