Thanks Alicia. How is the new flooring coming along
The floor is done. We are now dealing with some wall repair from taking out the wood burning stove and tile work behind it and painting some areas on the walls (primarily behind the old tanks). Then we need to replace all the baseboards. I will be ready at that point to set up the new tanks. I have my new sand soaking, I am about to work on building some cool rock structures and getting them soaking next. I am hoping to have all the work done in the next 2 weeks. The bummer is that we have to finish up fixing Granny's house completely so we can rent it out. We have sat on it way to long and need to get it rented, but first we have to finish it as well. It just gets crazy trying to do everything a few hours each night and then on the weekends when I would rather be at the lake water skiiing.
The Peace Coral looks wicked happy!!!!!!That thing grows very well when it is happy.
Sorry to hear of your recent troubles. I am sure things will right themselves over the next month or so and your params will settle back to that sweet spot.
I went and checked out the Solana over at Exotic. It looks nice enough for what I want to do with a small tank. I think I will set up one of my old mini PFO pendants over it with a nice little MH DE bulb and an IceCap ballast. Hopefully it will run well and cause me no problems...yea, right, hehehe.
I think, so far, I have decided to sell three of my fish when moving them to the new tanks comes. The Lineatus and the Borbonius pair. They are alright, I just want some different anthias in the new tank, something a bit brighter, maybe less agro when they grow up. I pretty much see issues down the road when they get large. The lineatus is always trying to jump and recently busted a bulb when he jumped and splashed the MH bulb. I just see him flying out one of these times to be found as fish jerkey

. I don't want that.
I am looking forward to a visit soon
