Mark's new build

I will be using Laguna MaxFlo 1500, it should be pushing what two 1260 would. I hope this should work, the Laguna is almost dead silent compared to Eheim pumps. Well, I will find out soon, water in next weekend :)

That's good to hear. I have been using the new laguna 1350 for a few months. I got it with a 4 year warranty from an ebay seller. I then bought a stand for it. You should consider purchasing the stand if you haven't already. It was like $20. Great pump! Love your choices and style for this tank. I can't wait a few months though to see it stocked and growing haha.

Yeah, I actually have the same pump as yours. I bought the 1500 on Amazon, they sent me the 1350, first I was ticked off but realized it is almost the same pump. Anyway for $99 on sale can't complain. I do have stand for it too.

great job on the screen sitting inside like that. Are you using some sort of clips?

Thank you guys, on the screen if you look closely ,you will see clear acrylic squares on the sides, that I glued to top of the screen. They keep it from falling in. I will post better pictures when I get home later.

Here is the close up how the screen is held.

I gotta say I really, really like the aquascape.
Simple and elegant.
Nice screen work as well.
Looking forward to seeing it wet!

It seems like this build takes forever. I thought I will be able to get water this weekend, but with work so busy I only worked on organized my cabinet and sump. I want this to be done before I put water in. Still waiting on my custom build ATO container that should arrive this week. I also added shallow layer of Tropic Eden reeflakes and miniflakes to about 1 in. I finally got a good hang of the ATI lamp and its software and working on my lighting cycle.

For powerheads cables, I routed a couple of notches in my frame with my Dremmel , so it still sits flat.

Very nice. Not sure if you mentioned this, but are you going zeo? The simplicity of the sump looks like it, LOL! Definitely following now:)
