I'm in. Very cool getting a view into reefing in an entirely different part of the world!
Great setup!

Thanks Michael,
Its not really that different here than in the states only more difficult due to availability of hardware and livestock...

trigs Read this thread start to now, and boy do i love it
Thanks.

Amazing tank Maroun.

Your fish are active and looks like they love their new tank.

From where you bought them? is there any attach from the purple tang to the other fish?

Definitly hyperactive after months in the sump.
I try to get most fish locally as their not as easy as corals to travel with, Still have bought some fish from travel as well... All the tangs are so far behaving very well but it's still early to judge.

Spazdad Keep me posted.
I will

Thanks Dainiusiva,
Where in Lithuania are you located? was there 1 yeare ago and was searching any LFS or setups worth seeing... I remember a very nice display in a shopping mall...

looked at the tank yesterday around midnight just before going to bed and noticed a big load of floating debris in the water, turned on the moonlights and on closer look I thought it was a new hatch from my maroon clowns (now in the sump!!!)

Picked up the camera and grabbed a few shots (used my 50mm 1.4 with 3 extension tubes 60mm in total) didn't have my tripod and macro rail but I still got lucky with the following shots.

On closer look it seems these are from my fire shrimps. Jsut hoping some of them will make it, still I think they have a very difficult larva stage as well as the tank being new so lacking all phyto and zoo planctonic matter.

First time I'm seeing something like this...it's really beautiful and amazing at same time.
Big congratulations to ya!! The fire shrimp pair seems to be comfortable already in ur tank :D
You gonna try salvaging the babies? I'm sure u can rear them in a smaller separate tank with few mature live rock or maybe an estabilshed refugium of a friend?
Good luck.
Must be pretty cool to see those tiny guys skittering about in ur tank.

Happy Reefing!!

1st time I see this as well although the shrimps have been iny old tank for quite some time. Unfortunately my fuge has fish in it still awaiting bring transfered so they would consume them. Remember reading that they have a very difficult larval stage so not sure they'll make it. Especially that my tank is bot mature and has no phyto or zooplancton... So didn't catch any. Will definitly read on those a bit and maybe try setting up a small tank for the coming batch hopefully. Yesterday had my camera, tripod and macro focusing rail for some better shots but I didn't spit any shrimps! Not sure if they are hiding in the rocks or if my fish ate them...
Wondering about adding a few shrimps as they spawn frequently and are a good food source for fish and corals...

rpjaws74 definitely nice!
Thanks

TripsterAK Loving this tank. Good Job. What are you gonna stock with all that room?
Thanks,
Like my previous 150G it's going to be an SPS dominated mixed reef. After having many of my colonies reduced to tiny frags through a long and never ending move I'm starting with SPS frags so it might appear LPS dominated at first...

Updates to come coming week as I'm finally flying home tonight for a couple of weeks and should have time to start moving corals in.
