Maxi-Mini Anemone Question

I started with two Maxi-mini anemones. One NEVER get's more than an inch or so before splitting... right now I have 3 identical. I have another that is about 4 inches and doesn't split. Can I split the large one manually?

If the small one is a mini carpet, then they wont get bigger but will propagate themselves very quickly. The bigger one is probably a mini MAXI carpet but they rarely split on their own. I usually just pull them out and cut them right in half through the mouth, iodine dip for a minute or so, then place them back in the tank. Good luck!

Yes, the mini-mini divides frequently by asexual reproduction, but the maxi-mini, not at all.
