Does anyone know any dealers out there who sell the newest xf150 with the new rugged blade props, as standard?

Interested in purchasing one, but:
-cannot accept that there is an inferior product out there, when i can get the "upgraded" one for same price.
-do not like the idea of spending an additional $30 on something that i feel should be standard

It will be standard eventually (it doesn't make sense to have two kinds of paddles) but retailers probably won't be selling the newest stock right off the bat, so it will be a while before they're seen 'in the wild'.

Remember this is Maxspect and they are in business to make money (which doesn't translate over to making the customer happy I guess).

I wonder if one reason they even decided to upgrade the blades is because the new Jebao Gyre is hitting the streets now and it probably won't have all these problems and Maxspect is expecting its market monopoly to drastically shrink?

It was a legitimate thought that since the jebao gyre has been released that perhaps maxspect thought it time to step up the quality issues with the paddles...just in case jebao got it all right from the start.

They've had upgraded blades for a while now. All they had to do to have an edge of Jebao is to not have a 50% failure rate at 6 months.

i have a xf150 and it just stopped working , I've stripped it , cleaned it , re-assembled and still no luck
When I turn it on it just goes straight into error mode .
Could some give the most likely fault , controller , power supply , gyre driver , shaft or bushings?

talk to coralvue. check the DC connector to make sure it isn't corroded.

Contact the manufacturer I had one do this and they replaced the motor block

Anyone with the new paddles on the FX150 notice that the flow got a lot stronger? I was running mine at 4 lights with the old paddles but with the new ones it is way too strong.

Carlos swears there is no change in flow just in angle, so that if placed horizontal near the waterline you need to adjust the cages down a tad compared to the standards paddles.

This is true regarding angle but I have told him that even so I find the flow stronger. In reverse the flow is ridiculously improved IME. By a large factor.
