Maxspect LED owners!!!

I may have missed this somewhere in the thread, but I have not yet tried to switch anything out on my units and was wondering what everyone thought the best swap in colors and optics were. Can someone advise, point me in the right direction as to where this is discussed in the thread.

nice ... and i got the same 2x 160W for my tank . cannot wait to fire them up ...

Is there any personal info on the packing slip? name, address etc. If so please PM me so I can verify. Your order just might be relaxing at the Fedex warehouse in Honolulu!

There is no personal information in the box at all. I did just get an email from Finsreef saying that they are re-shipping and will send a return label to me.
If I had the time and money I would personally deliver the parts to you in Hawaii. Of course you would have to show me your tank, the islands and the beaches to make up for it ;).

Thanks for the info.
I wish.... Hawaii is only halfway to where I live! I planned to have it shipped Fedex to Hawaii so it could be picked up to go on a 10 day boat ride to my locale. Looks like it is going to miss the boat! I hope Fins Reef can get it to me before Christmas. To be continued...
 
just like with any other light, these can have some issues as well. Brian is really good about helping out with tech issues as well. I had one of my lights miss a timer but I just changed the time a bit and it went back. It was like it was having a bad day but havn't had any other problems within months. Just fiddle with it a bit and see if you can wake it up, lol.
 
Well, you guys all convinced me. I just pulled the trigger and ordered a pair of G2-160's

This should be interesting, given that I'm upgrading from a 4x55 PC retrofit.

Say Hhaase they talk me in to it to. I should have my G2-160 three of them next wk. I have 14 T5 lights so we will see how it goes

be realy carefull not to burn you coral cause the blue alone will be more powerull than the 4x PC

I never had much in the way of coral to begin with, and my hair algae problem took care of most of what corals I did have. Only one lonely little kenya tree right now I have to worry about, and I'll acclimate him nice and slow. I doubt I'll even turn the 30w's on for at least a month. I might even make him a nice little acrylic sunshade to help him adapt.

I put my order on 20th Oct, now i'm still waiting my order.
I asked Eric frist, and then Eric gave me Brain's Email.
And Brian said my order is lost by USPS, so he will reship it to me by UPS,
and then he will give me the track number last week,
but so far, I didn't get any tracking number or whatsoever.

Hope I can get my light before December, because I will go for vacation
at beginning of December, and nobody at home, and the UPS will send the package back. I didn't know shipping to Canada will take that long.

I used to own a small online business of my own. I don't know what the deal was, but I had regular issues with packages shipped to Canada via USPS. I don't know if it was a customs thing, or what, but it seemed the bigger the package the bigger the chance of a problem. UPS cost more (Sometimes by a lot), but at least I had some kind of tracking resource and rarely a problem.
