Hi, guys. The 16,000K are in transit to us now and should arrive by the end of this week. We're told the others will be another 2 weeks. We certainly understand your frustration, but we believe this is one product that will be worth the wait. We do apologize for the delay if you are on our pre-order list. We are happy we at least get to fulfill some as early as next week.

To be honest it is very disappointing....I have used you guys pretty much exclusively for years now and there are multiple other sites already claiming to be shipping off of their pre-order list and u won't until next week. The other part being when I asked on the phone today if I my preorder would be fulfilled out of the first shipment they couldn't give me any information. I understand the issues while u wait foritem from the distributor but seems like you should have some sort f an idea on how many are coming and the number of preorders to let people know where they stand.

As of last week I asked Chris from their support team and he said ALL preorders will be taken care of in first shipment and that SIX of them were remaining to post to the site after they were in stock. I wish other sites had this posted too, as after ordering over 1500.00 in stuff from marinedepot in the past 2 or 3 months and getting the run around on this, Id be jumping ship.

I am getting mine on Sat already have a fed ex confirmation. Ordered from Hellolights and it is being drop shipped direct. I guess Marine Depot because their bigger company gets the fixtures then has to ship out. I was told Coralvue is short 50 fixtures. Some pre-orders will be waiting even longer. I do think these companies should now have charged the money until the actually ship the item. Holding our money for over a month is not cool.

We do not charge shoppers for pre-ordered merchandise until the item(s) ship when you pay with a credit/debit card. PayPal being the exception—they do not have the capability to pre-authorize a charge like CC companies do, so our hands our kinda tied in those instances.

I just got my ship notice for my preorder from marine depot, woot! Thanks for the quick turnaround on the shipment today. Cant wait to get it and review it.

I really appreciate the honest response and I am sorry if it came off that I want to go else where. I like supporting local business here because I want them to stay here....it is better for our economy...that said the only thing I wish you could provide when I called was a yes ur order will be filled out of the first shipment or a no it won't so I can plan ahead.

The lights arrived late yesterday afternoon. We wanted to post to this thread immediately but weren't sure how quick our warehouse would inspect and put them into inventory. Anyhoo, we look forward to your review! Just a heads up: you may need to dial the intensity down considerably when you first set it up. The output is pretty strong and we don't want you to cook your corals. They may need time to acclimate!

This is a question for the guys at Marine Depot. Last week I ordered a 120w fixture and was told it would be around 2-3 weeks but I had heard that the manufacturer would have had these out to you by this week and note I read that you say you had already received them. When can we expect these to be sent out to us?

Hi rc1626and STEELERFAN747. It us our understanding Maxspect closed temporarily and/or was forced to evacuate due to Hurricane Isaac last week. They are back in the office today, though, so we already contacted them to get a firm ETA on the lights. We should know something more a bit later today.
