maxspect razors

Sorry MD, cancelled my order for the 10k 120w fixture. I fully understand it is out of your control but still disappointed with Maxspect/Coralvue nonetheless. This would have been my first purchase from this company. I know stuff happens but quite clearly they dropped the ball in my opinion. It doesn't sound like they made nearly enough fixtures to cover the initial pre-orders at all. To advertise the 10k fixture and go 2 months + and not have them available here in the US is a problem. You will certainly have my business again MD but Maxspect/Coralvue, I don't know. Sorry, just venting!

Probably will go DIY now and build a similar spectrum fixture through Rapid and run it through my RKE. Won't look as sleek but that's ok it will be inside a canopy anyway.

Thanks again for the great customer service MD. We'll do business again soon.

I'll bet MD can't wait to get these lights in just to cut all the manpower needed just to keep up with all the questions asked about these things. It's like Tickle Me Elmo for reefers. Lol.

It's true. lol The demand for these lights is unlike anything we've experienced before.

I am # 3 and I purchased mine on 7/17.

I was a little sad when I ordered mine I saw a Cool free MD shirt that I checked on now I go and look back it's not in the order. Oh well least we are finally going to be getting our Razors!

Completely understandable. That's why we wanted to be as forthright as possible with these ETAs so you'd be able to make whatever arranagements are necessary for you and your aquarium system. We certainly understand your frustration and disappointment and appreciate you venting here in our forum so we're able to pass your sentiments along to the manufacturer. Thank you all so much for your patience. We hope you love your new lights. Please consider lowering the intensity of the light when you first set it up so you don't cook your corals. They'll likely need time to acclimate to your new fixture.

I received tracking info last night but when I go in it, it gives me info of a Tunze pump that was already delivered but the email shows the light fixture but does not mention the free t shirt. I placed my order by phone, would it have been included and not show on the order?

The Tunze Turbelle Nanostream was delivered 9/5. The Razor is presently in transit and is scheduled for delivery Friday, 9/28, by the end of the day. It appears the order was split because the Razor was pre/back ordered. A T-shirt was not present in your order but we'd be happy to send one your way separately so you can represent MD!

What's your T-shirt size? We've got M, L, XL and XXL. The shirts are cotton so they do shrink a bit in our experience. That said, they're pretty true to fit.

Hmmm. It depends how you'd like the shirt to fit. They basically fit true to size, although the shirts do shrink a bit after you wash and dry them a couple of times.

Me personally "” hi, I'm Jeff from MD :wavehand: "” I got the medium. I think it fits better now that it's been through the wash/dry cycle. It's got a snug fit in the torso (I weigh like 155 lbs), sleeves don't go past my elbows (it's a pet peeve of mine when they do since I'm a mere 5'7").

I'd say if you're in the mid to upper echelon of XL, you may want to opt for the XXL. If an XL sits on you loosely, stick with it and our shirt will fit comfortably.

The shirt brand is Anvil if you want want to check your closet for something similar. Since your aquarium supply order is already in transit, there's no rush to decide your shirt size. Just reply here with your choice whenever you're ready. Please remind me of your original order number again so I don't have to scroll back. lol

Thank you for the T-shirt Marine Depot. You even shipped it separately for free. I'm guessing because my Razor was already boxed up for shipping when I called and it would take too much time to remove all the packing peanuts that were so carefully placed into the box with tweezers. You would never be able to get them back into their original positions.
