This month we will be meeting at Bob's house (thysrof) for the tank raising party. We will be upgrading Bob's old 120 into a rimless 125. Please come by and help put his new tank together. Grant will be building Bob's new cabinet/stand on the spot. If you want to watch a pro at work, this is your chance.

The date will be Sat may 28th,
Time noon until late afternoon, some of us will be there earlier to help drain the old tank and move the old equipment.

Their will also be a BBQ, so bring something to cook on the grill and share. BYOB, the pool should be warm enough for some skinny dipping :D but bring some shot just incase :D

We will have a raffle. If you have frags to share please bring them.

See you all there. This is your last change to make the ceasar's discount list this year so please give me your info by the 28th.

Please pm thysrof for direction.

Was that shots or shorts? Sounds like fun too me. Hey wait a minute I'm going to be working the whole time, Hmmmmm. As an added bonus I can bring a special treat for the raffle

The 2 eye frag of Pink Mojito the one at the rear center of pic as well as some other pieces.

Good job with the pic buddy! One day we'll get you shooting in raw mode and then the colors will be accurate and not so blue.

Count me in. Between us we'll get the new tank swapped in very quickly (quickly for "reef time" ;)).

Anyone up for discussing the plan of action in greater detail than "empty old tank / fill new tank", maybe on a different thread?

actually the pic is fairly accurate, I only had the pure actinics on at the time. Bob will have to fill in the details as far as how his swap out should go.

I saw bobs new tank the other day when we unloaded it.....boy is it sick! Some people might wanna bring collection containers for all of the drooling thats gonna happen when they see it:lol2:

Come to think of it, my back is hurting me lately so I am not going to be able to carry anything other than the small frags of corals ... lol

Chris I hope you realize the meeting is a week from Tomorrow memorial day weekend not June.

I think if everyone brings what they have listed we'll be more than good

Hey guys as of now I can make it. I was supposed to work but it looks like I can break free. I haven't ben posting to much. Been working, had a minor surgery done on my hand(saltwater and stitches don't mix!) and have been on an Aptasia killing spree. Oh and I have been working hard on my garden..one handed. I should be fine for assisting on whatever you guys need as far as helping with Bob's tank I am looking forward to seeing it!

Here is a quick photo of my yard today it has come a long way.(Grant, got a small bridge from my inlaws and the wife is happy so less work for us!!)

p.s. Shane I could use some chaeto if it hasn't been spoken for thanks....
p.s.p.s. I am picking up some bulbs from Steve soon(maybe tomorrow) if anybody needs anything delivered to the meeting.

See you next week....Craig.

Craig the cheto is all yours.

I need a 72 super atinic from Steve and a radium 250 SE. I'll buy them from him if you can pick them up that would be great. I'll give him a call to see if he has them in yet.
I need that 72" ASAP it burned out a while back and the tank needs it.

If you go tomoroow maybe you can drop them off or i can pick them up in exchange for the cheto. How much do you want? If it is too much just toss it or take it to Jo Fish, they have given me trade for coral in the past.

Craig, Nice to hear from you. Yard looks great and the bridge too. Nice design it fits the layout well. Look forward to seeing you at Bob's. How are the fish in the pond doing? Any raccoons after them? ;)

Shane,

I am waiting to see if Steve is home tomorrow then I will head up there I will call you or wait to hear if your bulb is in before I leave. If it takes a few days I could wait till next Thursday or Friday depending on his schedule....Let me know. As far as the chaeto I am looking to replace mine so maybe 2 fist sized chunks. Otherwise we could bring the rest to the meeting if anybody else wants som:)

Grant Thanks.. the yard fish are now super aggressive. They know who the feeding person is and they follow Erin around the yard like dogs. Here are a few bluegill awaiting dinner!!

They are eating goldfish, mealworms and crickets along with a few nightcrawlers.

It is quite a sight to see the bass go after the goldfish, never knew they were so fast.

No Raccoons after that first time maybe we will be lucky(no egrets either knock on wood)
