If the 18b20 sensors are the same as before the you don't need to re-do the addresses as they ought to have been written into your specific Jarduino sketch. I had a similar issue when I blew a Mega and I discovered that in blowing the Mega I actually blew the 18b20 sensors as well. I swapped them out and set up the new addresses and worked perfectly. Another thing I did was I took out the 4.7k resistor and installed a variable pot resistor and found that due to the distance of the sensors from my Mega the optimum resistance was 3.9k and lastly I gave the sensors its own 5v supply.
Hey guys,...I got a new 18B20, have it hooked up ready to go,...brought up the arduino program, went to Examples, and unlike before I don't see Dallas Temperature on the list? I'm suppose to click on Dallas Temperature which brings up "Tests" that leads me to the addressing. What am I missing? Thanks,---Rick
