MH Bulbs

It's time to replace my mh's and vho's. I have 3 250W hqi de mh's and 2 140W actinic VHO's. Currently the mh's are 13K. The bulbs I have came with the hood I bought from ebay. The package says: SLI Lighting HSI-TD AquaArc. Can I buy any double ended bulb?

I'm told 10K is the best for color and growth. I'm planning on getting the super actinic for the vhos. Do I get ones with a built in reflector?

Anyone have any experience with Hamilton bulbs? Where's a good place to buy them?

Also, anyone local need mh's or vho's that want to share shipping charges? I'm also planning a trip to Rochester within the next week or two.

No experience with DE MH's here. The SE Hamiltons have been very reliable. I price comparison shop for halides at (RC sponsor) Champion Lighting and Ocean Encounter. I purchase my URI VHO actinics (with internal reflectors) at the LFS.

What LFS do you get the VHOs from and how much? Are they actinic?

I get my VHO's at Marine Oasis, but to be fair- I think all 3 Rochester stores carry VHO actinics.

check their prices. they ship direct from hamilton. i have hamilon 175 10k mh and 54 watt actinic t-5s. like 'em alot.

After doing some research and price checking, I think I'm getting XM 250W 10K from champion lighting and super actinic VHO's from petsolutions.
